Football fans were treated to a great weekend of Division play-off games. The games were both exciting and depressing. Our Cards are so far from that level of play it is going to take several years to get close to even qualifying for a wild card. About the only talent comparable is the meltdown by QB Stroud—KM is capable of that level of performance.

MB’s one-year turn-around expectation of his new HC is about as ludicrous as anything—especially coming from the guy who is accountable for the years of failure as owner/CEO.. We have major questions at almost every position group confounded by the long, long list of guys on IR going into next year. As the Division games proved, there is a breakpoint where the injury list trumps any coaching expertise. We are at the bottom of the list with our roster and ownership. The 70-year old cafeteria lady (the one with the permanent hairnet and the huge nose wart sprouting a long black hair) has a better chance of getting asked to the prom as the Cards have of getting a top-tier HC to say ‘Yes.’. Consider that three of the teams in the Division round are also in our NFW. We get to play 6 of our games next year against those teams. The new coach is looking at 0-6 to come up with his one-year turn around. Who is QB? RB? OL? DL? Waterboy?

Caleb has improved a lot! A LOT
I do wonder how the Bears would be if they fired Eberflus after they got the #1 pick. Caleb picked up a lot of bad habits his rookie season.

With the Bears talent and coaching he needs to have a somewhat similar season to Drake Maye or even rookie Jayden Daniels next regular season.

I wasnt a Drake Maye fan, but he's been great with less offensive talent than Caleb. So the more he wins the more pressure on Caleb to put it all together.

Did you not see Caleb play this year? First year in the offense and makes it to the divisional round after winning the division.

A lot of my frustration is I had money on the Bears. Salt in the wound seeing the Rams go back the NFC Championship.

However, this is a brutal way to end the year.

Two NFC West teams in the NFC Championship game...what are you going to do now, Billy Boy? The Full Monty perhaps? This franchise is so screwed - has been for decades, will be for decades. Bidwill should petition the NFL to move the Cardinals to the NFC South - well, we are in the SOUTHwest, lol.

Here’s what I’m rooting for… Rams win the Super Bowl, Stafford retires on top and McVay steps down to take some time off (as was rumored he might a couple years ago).

Yes, the Rams win a chip but that’s a sunk cost and moving forward without Stafford or McBay, BOOM, they’re no longer the bully to perpetually rub our faces in dog crap.

Sure but to be fair, Burden had a huge drop earlier in the drive(or maybe the drive before). Caleb is not a finished product but he has so much talent
He has developed into much more than I thought he would.
The talent is obvious but I really thought the emotional immaturity and mental weakness would cap him out at a one and done playoff QB...
But dude played like a Champion. Of course you want to see the picks cleaned up...but you kinda expect your wr to break on the ball too...instead of letting the corner do it.
I am beyond impressed with how far Williams has come since the draft.

Yeah, I remember those rumors after AD retired...contract negotiations.
I think McVay enjoys the fight too much to hang it up early. Dude is gonna coach another 25 years.
I don't think he is built for the booth and he is too vital for retirement.

Ben Johnson how do you not call a timeout?
xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

As I was watching the Rams go uptempo Im wondering why isnt Ben Johnson calling a timeout? Save your defense.
That's how our defense played all year

I can't figure out why DC's give so much cushion
