i think he likely is a really good player
but it also seems likely he is on PUP for at least the first 8-9 weeks of the season, and then is worked in slowly
i dont think its likely he is a "huge factor as a rookie"

We lost because we could not stop the run and our interior line was a sieve (all it takes is one subpar guard to take down the whole OL) before I could even point fingers at our CBs, WRs or Kyler... for the love of common sense, take Zion Johnson if he's there!

I noticed that. But, he is ranked by most Analysts as the #1 WR. AI never was.
Doesn’t Linderbaum play guard too? Adding that versatility might be a good idea.

IDK, but did read that he's just a center.
He's only ever played center. It was thought he was too small for Guard because he played at like 292 but he was 304 at his Pro Day.
I think Pugh is on the smaller side for Guard and he's about 311 so I don't think it's inconceivable he can bulk up with an NFL regime. He'd need to to play Center realistically.

Linderbaum should be a stud center pretty early on, but my preference is Zion. Go watch this kid & then listen to his interview. He’s nasty & super intelligent. I like the combination.
