That's a lot of numbers!
I think it's a wise move by him. I still think he is going to show better than expected and rise up the charts. I know guys like Harry are sour on him but I doubt guys like Harry watched him play week in and week out and really don't understand how insufficient the coaching was for Allar at PSU. Add to that the James "I love playing mind games" Franklin as his HC and you have a pretty good recipe for failure.

@Shane nailed it. 30" is well below the ideal. Ask your wife/GF/BF if 2" shorter is a big deal, and if 4" shorter than ideal is a dealbreaker
I think you make exceptions for exceptionally productive players. Aaron Donald was way shorter than ideal for a DT, but his pressure numbers in college were legendary.
