Darrell Jackson
, IDL, Florida State

The 6-foot-5, 328-pound Jackson was one of the biggest athletes in Frisco this year. He measured in with 35-inch arms and an 86-inch wingspan to go along with 11-inch hands. A massive man with quick feet and active hands, Jackson was a consistent problem for interior linemen during one-on-ones.

Perhaps no player had a better week at the East-West Shrine Bowl than Texas Tech’s Cole Wisniewski. He stood out against both the run and the pass. Against the run, the 6-foot-3, 213-pound strong safety was physical and decisive, showing the instincts and toughness to thrive in that role. He also held up well in coverage, especially on Day 2, consistently closing cushion and proving he can survive downfield. Overall, he showed the skill set of a player who can contribute as a strong safety and core special teams piece at the next level

RB Eli Heidenreich

Any team looking for versatility should find a lot to like when they watch Heidenreich. He had 3,151 scrimmage yards and 23 touchdowns in three seasons at Navy and ended the 2025 season as the team's leading receiver (941) and third best rusher (499). He had the second best receiving grade among all players with a 94.8 and had 338 yards after the catch, according to PFF.

He is a huge dude. It's a pretty nice NT class so it will be interesting where he goes. Probably a 2nd/3rd round guy but all depends on how teams stack him vs McDonald, Hunter, Big Citrus, The Godfather, and Keenan, and if any team feels like he has pass rush potential.

Side note, Big Citrus might be my favorite draft nickname this year so far.

Shad Banks, LB, UTSA

Banks showed scouts he can excel on special teams, making stops on the first two kickoffs. He was all over the field on defense, as well, swallowing running backs on multiple occasions. He avoided a block to make a stop at the line in the first half and twice dipped under oncoming linemen to fill the hole later in the game. Banks also made plays against the pass, knocking down a throw in the end zone late in the first half and upending a receiver in zone coverage over the middle.

Winning the MVP in a bowl game like this shows just how much talent Gronowski truly has. He may have gotten off to a slow start with the Hawkeyes this season, but that doesn't mean he's not a credible quarterback. At the end of the day, adjusting from FCS to the FBS is a big deal.

Dom Richardson and Jalon Daniels joined their ranks after impressing in Tuesday's contest.
Richardson, who is a running back from Tulsa, took over with the game on the line and spearheaded the West team's winning drive in the final minutes. He overpowered East defenders in the hole on a number of runs and fittingly was the one to find the end zone with just six seconds remaining.

Did any state of Arizona players play in this game?
Who won?
I don't see anything about the game on the ESPN website.

Mason Reiger, EDGE, Wisconsin
Mason Reiger, a 2025 All-Big Ten honorable mention, was arguably the night's biggest winner for the East team. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Reiger logged two sacks -- a drive-killer on third down against Louisville quarterback Miller Moss in the second quarter, and another on Connecticut's Joe Fagnano with 6:10 remaining.

DiGiorgio played well at right tackle for the West squad, stopping edge rushers in their tracks as a pass protector. His average length (32 3/4-inch arms) will likely push him inside in the NFL, so teams must have been thrilled to see his strength as a run blocker during the contest. The big man's movement skills reaching defenders at the second level and pulling across the formation should endear him to offensive line coaches throughout the league."
