Reminder for those on the board. This is new information for #DraftTwitter and non-professional scouts but confirming information for professional scouts and teams.
Guys rise and fall at the combine for non-team draft analysts. This is because they have less access and information than professional scouts. Basically, combine workouts help close some of the gaps between non-professionals and professionals. Teams will adjust their boards based on medical information, interviews, psych profiles, and then if there is a discrepancy between their prior measurables and the testing.
So. regarding guys like Bain and Bailey.
If Bain's arm length is a negative outlier, non-professionals may adjust their boards/rankings but teams likely won't unless they didn't have it,
If Bailey weighs in at 240lbs, non-professionals may adjust their boards/rankings but teams probably won't.
If Mauigoa is smooth moving around in drills (if he even does them), it may lead to people leaning away from the "projects as a OG" label.
With Caleb Downs, you would like to see some special athletic traits if you are considering drafting him in the top 10.
With Love, you want to see big, fast, quick, and good hands if you want him in the top 10. Jeanty was short and it didn't really impact his draft stock but probably should have been considered more.
