Good morning, Broncos Country. We are currently in the midst of the ‘dead’ portion of the off-season. No major news related to the team is happening. It will be a while until OTAs in June and training camp later this summer to get anything relatively noteworthy to discuss.

Last week, the NFL released their official schedule for the upcoming season. The Denver Broncos with a first-place schedule based off their achievements last year face a gauntlet of opponents to start the season. In order to make the playoffs, it will be crucial for them to do well early on. If not, finishing strong and coming close to running the table will be mission critical to earn their third consecutive playoff berth.

According to NFL writers Ali Bhanpuri and Tom Blair, they predict mixed results for Denver. Bhanpuri has the Broncos winning ten games and earning the final wild card spot in the AFC. Per his analysis, the Broncos will win just four games before their Week 10 Bye, but finish the season strong to make the dance.

The Buffalo Bills are predicted to go 12-5 alongside the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens as division winners, followed by the Houston Texans at 11-6. He has the Cincinnati Bengals at 11-6 and the Los Angeles Chargers 11-5 also earning playoff berths.

Meanwhile, Blair has the Broncos missing the playoffs all together and finished their ’26 campaign with a 9-8 record. He has them losing four straight to begin the season and earning just three victories by mid-November. Denver definitely has a tough set of games to start the season, but it’s hard to envision this year’s Broncos faltering that bad to begin the year.

What do you think, Broncos Country? Do you believe the Broncos will miss out on the playoffs as Blair predicted? Will they do better than the 10 wins and a wild card spot Bhanpuri suggested? Sound off in the comments section and let me know.

As always, thank you for reading. Here is today’s slate of articles for Horse Tracks.
