NFL Can't Have It Both Ways

The League says that they are concerned about player safety, and then have their officials pick up the flag when John Brown was hit waaaaaaaayyyy out of bounds. Just wondering if the Rams had a bounty on JB?

Absolutely agree!

The one part I've always hated about football is the "power" the refs have to influence the game. They're "calls" often change momentum or the out-right scoring. ...And nobody will ever convince me that there isn't a league-wide bias for/against certain teams. "League integrity", my butt! 48+ years of watching tells me other-wise.

I agree as well. The standard "coachspeak" always says that one play does not determine the outcome of the game but those huge momentum changing plays (i.e. fumble recovery on the 5 yard line) would definitely change the games outcome going forward.
These types of mistakes were supposed to have been corrected after the one years ago during that Denver/SD game. It's a BS cope out to say the play was whistled dead and no review is possible.
