Wasn’t there a year where Baptiste was “forced” into starting from the get go and in the first play/first snap in Pre-Season, he literally got steamrolled flat on his back in as ugly fashion as humanly possible? Might have been the first play of the season, but one of those two scenarios is burned in my brain and instantly told me that season was over.

That was the year the Cardinals started like 4-0 including a huge win over the Patriots in Foxboro. Then they proceeded to lose like every game after that.

I remember watching Baptiste fo against Chandler Jones and Jone got a pressure on almost every pass rush snap. Then against the Rams, Robert Quinn rang up like 3 sacks and a ton of pressures and the Cardinals lost almost singlehandedly dude to Baptiste's wretchedness.

While Monti isn’t perfect, Thank God we are over this BS approach of having zero solutions for several positions
