I tiptoed into this earlier, so as the ignorant new guy I'll do it again. Do we really care what color the coach's skin is as long as he (assumption since that might be the next consideration) is a good coach and can help this franchise win? Seriously, why are we dancing around this? I don't care if the coach is purple. If he can turn this thing around, I'm all for it. I'm only here for football/Cards talk, not PC stuff. Sorry, not trying to be difficult.
And again, no thanks on Dante Moore (even with Lanning) or Simpson.
AZTex, I don't think anyone here does care. We're the Arizona Cardinals. The narrative that caused the discussion to get sidetracked had more to do with the Rooney Rule, and whether bringing Joseph, Morris or any other black coaches was a result of the need to satisfy that stupid mandate. Nice to meet you BTW.

It’s not so much about agreeing, it’s more about offering options and giving them consideration. I wasn’t even thinking about Weaver but when I researched him and asked around I'm impressed the Cards are bringing him in for an interview. He’s a candidate I could get behind. He’s not the only one but he’s on my short list.
Bidwill can't make any right choices because of making all the wrong ones lol. All jokes aside, I'm just being facetious because of our season, history & ownership, however, as a lifelong Cardinals fan, I hope they get it right this time.

Feels like a sucker bet but then again, I don't bet so maybe the sucker is me.

How much do you have to bet to make money with this line/that he wouldn't be hired?

Hafley has been good at every stop. He was at OSU and did a great job.

He had BC competitive. He's an excellent candidate. I like Weaver but Hafley would be a great hire.

McDaniels did a good job developing Tua but he inherited a winning team from Brian Flores. This is a bottom-5 team with injuries going into next season. Saleh might handle adversity better given our mid-ownership/management.
