She was unbearable last year. I don't recall her always being so bad. Glad to see Legler get promoted. I've always liked him as an analyst.

I've never been a fan, but I put a lot of the blame on me for not adapting to her style. Of course, I like Ann Meyers Drysdale.

I really don't like Annie at all. I'd rather listen to Doris. About 10 years ago though Doris was decent. She was on a B or C squad as a 3rd person and didn't detract from the broadcast but she wasn't exactly beneficial either. I'd say she's similar to Reggie Miller in that she used to be fine but now she's bad. They're bad in different ways though, I think the game has gotten too quick for Doris while Reggie is just stuck in the past.

I'm hoping with the NBC deal we'll get some fresh voices and new personalities because ESPN has been bad at creating new media talent over the last decade.

I think Annie has a great grasp of the game saw and described it as it should be seen. For some reason, I didn't feel the same about Doris Burke, although she is very knowledgeable.

Annie knows the game but is just dull.

I miss Sophie. She set the bar for female commentators, IMO. She was enthusiastic, knows the game, and had personality.

I don't see a draft prospect for next year thread if I am missing it please move.

one of the most interesting guys for me next year is UCLA PG Donovan Dent the transfer from New Mexico. Reports are he's just crushing it in practices so far, several national columnists have come away from UCLA practices saying Dent is a 1st team All American and possible 1st rounder. he's only about 6'1" but has long reach and apparently has made great strides defensively and was already a really good offensive player.

Great story wanted to go to UCLA out of HS but during Covid exposure was limited. Cronin was interested and would have offered him but they had Tyger Campbell and had Dylan Andrews committed in the same class as Dent. Mick loved the kid but said he wasn't a good shooter and with Covid not enough people had seen him play. Mick convinced New Mexico to look at him he's friends with Pitino Jr and they offered him. Even San Jose State hadn't offered him. Worked his butt off and wanted to come out last year but was likely going to go undrafted so transferred to UCLA and now is getting some love for 1st round from national columnists.

Can't wait to see him at UCLA and I love to hear there's still good stories like this with AAU and stuff it just seems so much of the development process is gone now they come into the NBA and have to be developed there.

Talking draft prospects on a Suns board is like talking about pinup girls to a eunuch.

We’ve been gelded.

Sophie Cunningham says she is way happier in Indiana, although Phoenix treated her good.

She will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

I think a more interesting topic, other than draft picks considering our lack of picks, is GP2. Where does he land?

There's no market for rfa's, hopefully it pays off for him as, imo, he's the best player out of the bunch mentioned.

That's the CBA doing its thing. Teams don't have the money to sign them without going into luxury tax land.

Most teams can only sign vet minimum players or do trades.

Cam Thomas is Jalen Green with injury problems, and you guys know what I think of Jalen Green.

The Nets are wise to not want to commit to him.
