Before you guys throw tomatoes.. what is AD’s value at this point? Would he be worth a look if we could get him for dirt cheap?

Just asking for my friend Matt..

He’s not close to worth his contract. He plays a couple games then misses a month, his season is probably over.

Except for the lure of the star power name, with his large contract, I view him as a negative asset. I think other NBA teams are waking up to this. Trae Young probably has more value.

We'd need to trade Grayson and Jalen for him. If we could guarantee his health for a playoff run, I'd do it. That is less likely to happen than Ayton staying motivated though.

Not all that unreal. I expect any day to hear he choked to death eating strawberry jello or was trampled by a herd of rampaging rabbits. All we really know is that Davis will get injured, and soon.
Maybe spontaneous combustion a la Spinal Tap drummers.

Hopefully not jinxing them but the Warriors are 8-3 in the last 11 games and one of the 3 losses was the Clips game where the league admitted they missed the goaltend that started the argument where Kerr got ejected. If they call that correctly and no ejection they would have won that game and be 9-2. Best recent play since the beginning of the year. If the Trey Murphy trade rumors have any truth to them I'm intrigued.

Steph now has 250 games with at least 6 threes in them, the next 2 Harden with 113, Klay with 107, so he has more than the next 2 combined. If I wasn't already old I would say when I'm old I'm going to look back and marvel at how good Steph Curry was

I'd take KD back for let's say, Richards and maybe throw in Allen. But we need another first round pick to taker on that salary. ;)

I don't think AD would be a good trade for anyone unless they are able to offload a player or pick that they don't care about. Because the downside to AD is known by everyone. he might not play. when he does play, he is one of the best at his position. there's no one questioning the latter. he would only be a good fit for a team on the cusp of winning a title and just need that extra boost.

The mavericks basically got AD and Flagg for Luka. That deal may turn into a good one for both teams if Flagg ends up being a great player. he already has been impressive as a rookie. but that's the future. the downside for the mavericks is that it blew up a team that was capable of reaching the finals right now. and probably more importantly it robbed fans of their star player that they loved to watch play, regardless of wins and losses. I've watched sports for a long time and there is something said when a player and city form a bond like doncic had with mavericks fans. It just appears that it wasn't the same way with the management and doncic.

There was some chatter in dallas last year N. Harrison was interested in KD. How close is he to hanging it up? He still looked good at the olympics, but that's not like the grind of the NBA.

Should Dennis Schroder get a medal after confronting Doncic?

Don't scare me with this thought. I'd want assets, lots of assets, to take on AD's contract and then I likely wouldn't do it.

IMO, he has a negative value with all the injuries.

And I jinxed them. The Luke Kennard show tonight came in mid 3rd and between that and first 4 of the 4th he was 6-6 from and turned a 2 point game into a 25 point lead.

I see why Atlanta dumped Trae, they have some decent players and are much better defensively without him. Jalen Johnson is really good, and they have a few others like daniels. Okongwu has a nice role. They're just so much bigger and better defensively without Trae

Houston just lost tonight which should put the Suns a half game ahead of them once they update the standings. i never would've imagined we'd be ahead of the Rockets at any point this season.

To take this a step further, we are closer to the 2nd seed (3 games) than the 8th seed (3.5 games). Nobody saw this coming

I don't think Durant hangs it up until he cannot play anymore. His entire identity is as this basketball savant, he argues with people online about his own greatness constantly... simultaneously insisting he doesn't care.

However, he's cancer. I'd take him over AD, but only because Davis can't play 5 games without getting hurt. Any team, with either player should get whatever they can for them.

Durant has zero interest in actually trying... he just wants to go ISO, get his and "hoop". He doesn't even try to hide it anymore. He does ZERO of the little things and will not participate in the offense when he does not have the ball.
