Two way deals are probably what they can afford.

What the Bucks couldn't afford is to lose Giannis… whatever it takes.

They have 100% odds of signing Hoops Antetokoumpo but I understand they're after Kostas first. Ma was always partial to Kostas as well so I'm used to it. I'll get my deal before Zarpo Antetokoumpo does though. ;)

We won't know until the real games start but I have to say so far it looks like Cooper Flagg despite his age is not in over his head? The bits I've seen he's not actually playing PG although he IS handling the ball quite a bit but so are others. He already looks like he can hold his own on defense, his jumpshot seems improved too although it improved quite a bit at Duke so it wasn't exactly broken.

I still fully expect AD will break down again he almost always does and Kyrie coming off ACL when he gets back there will be questions on how far along he is, but they could be really interesting to watch come playoffs if AD is healthy.
He looks comfortable from the little highlights I’ve seen. Still 18.

Flagg will probably be good enough, but not sure if he's really a game changer. Right now, he definitely looks pretty "high floor, middle ceiling" as far as I can tell. I could also see him being a victim of his own hype.

I think his defense is really going to be his strength. His shot is quite improved but he doesn't strike me as a knock down shooter 4-11 from 3 so far in preseason.

he has a very high motor too. I don't think he'll ever lead the NBA in scoring or rebounds but I do think he'll be a very good player

The 76ers hire Scott Layden as a scout.

First look at Portland tonight in preseason. Yang Hansen is pretty interesting. 20 years old, very skilled, legit big he looks 4 or 5 inches taller than Horford. Can use either hand, can put the ball on the floor and can pass.

I always liked Shaedon Sharpe he's coming off his best year and looks improved again, much better going left that used to be the book on him make him go left.
Portland looks like they're going to be improved this year, Jrue seems like a nice fit there veteran leader and his defense will rub off.

That's crazy someone drafted after Booker has retired. Brogdan has had health issues but still surprised to see that.

This is interesting for sure. It reminds me of Darren Collison retiring early.

The hard part is for players staying retired if they have something left in the tank.

Even the ones that don't often have this problem.

He’s a good dude too.
I remember Inside the NBA interviewing Brogdon about funding money to having fresh water wells for third world countries (Congo?)

DC is or at least was then a Jehovah's Witness and he said he retired to focus more on that. it was odd though because he's been a private workout guy for up and coming players in So Cal for years now so it seems like he just retired from playing but is still very much involved in the game.

After all the Kuminga stuff this offseason it's interesting to watch him in preseason. He's a bit better, moving the ball more less inclined to ball stop although he still does that. Definitely seems more engaged on defense inside, seems like playing with Horford is helping him he seems to have realized at his size with his athleticism he can block shots he's been more active there.

The one obvious difference is in the past he had a tendency to miss shots at the rim when shooting left handed and so far in preseason his solution to that seems to be trying to dunk everything at the rim going left. He's had 3 wicked lefty dunks already.

The outside shot doesn't seem any different so he's still going to have to figure out how to overcome that.

I was going to ask why? He must not be cutting it anymore.

I don't know. His stats were sound last season. If the Suns were in need of a point guard, I'd be looking at him. Someone will pick him up.

Yeah, he won’t be on the market for long.

The Kings point guard situation has gone from De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton to Dennis Schroder and Russell Westbrook.

What's perplexing, he was signed as a free agent. Maybe it was an unguranteed contract.

It was a weird signing since Charlotte isn't competing at all. I thought he would have stayed in Dallas or gone to LA to play with Luka. He is a solid veteran for 25 minutes a night.

Yeah, I've always liked what Dinwiddie brings to the table, even when he played for the Nets. I'd be interested for the Suns, but I don't want to mess with their point guard situation and team chemistry.

Besides, I'm waiting for Achiuwa. :)
