Josh Myers is sticking with the New York Jets.

Myers, 27, has started the entire 2025 season at center for the Jets (3-10). That originally came as a surprise.

A second-round pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2021, Myers was a four-year starter there but was expected to be a backup in New York until injury struck.

After signing a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason, ESPN reports he now agreed to a two-year, $11 million extension:

Joe Tippmann was originally slated to start at center for New York. Because of a season-ending injury for Alijah Vera-Tucker, Tippmann moved to guard and Myers was slotted in at center.

Pro Football Focus currently only grades Myers as the 28th best center in the NFL this year but is ninth in pass protection.

Regardless, the Jets like what they've seen.

Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 season.
