At 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, the Savannah, Georgia native began his college career at Valdosta State before transferring to Georgia State.

With the Panthers, he posted 127 receptions for 1,965 yards and 15 touchdowns across his final two seasons.

In 2025, Hurst delivered a breakout campaign with 71 catches for 1,004 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. The previous season, he set a program record with nine receiving touchdowns.

He earned All-Sun Belt honors, claiming first-team recognition in 2025 after a second-team selection in 2024.

At the NFL Combine, Hurst ran a 4.42-second 40-yard dash and recorded a 36.5-inch vertical jump.

During the upcoming visit, the Giants' coaching staff and front office will closely evaluate his size, speed, and playmaking ability to determine whether he can provide valuable depth and big-play potential to the wide receiver room.
