The #Chiefs plan to pick up the contract option for RB Damien Williams, source said, keeping the player who rushed for 104 yards in the Super Bowl in the fold. Williams will make $2.3M in 2020.
The #Falcons are releasing RB Devonta Freeman, source says, saving more than $3M against the salary cap and moving on from their former starter.
I could see it as a fit, but I'm honestly unsure why you'd cut Freeman to pay Drake more, potentially.
I thought he was going to be amazing.
“Best TE draft ever” and they all sucked
Or how Drake makes up for the loss of your #1 CB and RB.
They are in some sort of cap hell from the looks of it. Not sure they will want to give so much money to such a replaceable position.
They are still cap strapped but Freeman was terrible. Drake would be a huge upgrade in that offense.
Yeah, they should probably prioritize a high impact rookie.
Freeman's definitely dropped off a cliff, but I think Drake is a bottom third RB in this league, so I don't quite see the upgrade.
The Falcons are releasing Desmond Trufant. Should the team be looking at him?
Wow that’s a lot of money. Isn’t Armstead a free agent?
Armstead signed a 5 year deal to stay with the Whiners.
