Yes, he would, but I think he will wait for a head coach position.
Whenever I see Quin Snyder, I think of this guy. Just looks and facial expression.

Jazz really blowing it up and with fairly young players. Is that panic or a good move? It's not what the Spurs would do.

Mitchell has given some indicators that his next contract won't be in Utah and Danny Ainge loves a good remodel project.

Quin Snider always reminds me of Robert Patrick from Terminator 2. The liquid metal terminator.

The Jazz initially wanted 7 first round picks and players from the Knicks in trade for Donovan Mitchell.

Honestly, if they could get four for Gobert and they are talking to the desperate Knicks, I would ask for that at first too. You never know.

The Jazz are not going to get anything close to those assets from another team for Mitchell.

Let the Jazz take Mitchell to camp.

Udonis Haslem will return for a 20th season with the Heat. He is 42.

The Heat would save money if they just hired him as an assistant coach, which is what he basically is and has been for a while. He's played in just 58 games over the last 6 seasons and 0 playoff games. They're paying around $2.5 million a year for that, which is a lot more than he'd make as an Asst Coach. Can't fault him for it, he's getting paid. There's got to be some reason that they haven't moved him to the bench officially though since he doesn't play. Even in the bubble when they suffered a rash of injuries he didn't play.

I can't help but wonder now that the Durant situation is at least temporarily resolved, it doesn't open the gate for more trades to happen.

That was one major chip to fall.

I would think teams have contingency plans in place.

John Gambadoro talks about the Donovan Mitchell situation. The Knicks still appear to be the leader.

The Knicks sound like they want Mitchell so bad. Which is scary. Knicks moves have not panned out well when they go that hard at someone.

I just want something good out of the deal for the Suns.

Oh this makes me sick. That’s a combo of my two most loathed… anythings… in the NBA.

I'm definitely not a fan of Beverley but it's a good trade for the Lakers.

Looks like Westbrook will be on his way out soon.

Uh Paul is a pg with an edge.

Certainly, when Chris Paul is healthy, he provides an edge. There is speculation that Paul was ailing during the latter part of the playoff series against the Mavericks. He didn't seem like himself during the postgame 6 interview.

I think the Suns could use another point guard with a hard-nosed mentality when he needs rest or due to injury. I have less confidence in Cam Payne after last season.

I don't see how its a good trade for the Lakers. THT was one of the only players they had with neutral value and they sent him off for a career backup PG. They got a poor return, IMO. Utah got a decent young player in Tucker for an aging journeyman.

I'm curious as to how the Lakers think they'll get Westbrook off their roster. It is hard to imagine he and Beverley getting along, one of Beverley's dirtiest plays came at the expense of Westbrook's knee.
