The Los Angeles Lakers, as well as every other team in the NBA, have some important decisions to make over the next few months. NBA free agency will start on Tuesday, June 30, at 6:00 p.m. ET, with the Lakers already making multiple decisions.
Of course, the biggest is centered around what happens with LeBron James.

The biggest of them all: LeBron James has reportedly told the Lakers to move on without him. James will play for a different team next season, according to ESPN.
The Lakers received some more free agency news on Monday afternoon. Marcus Smart has declined his $5.4 million player option and will become a free agent, per Shams Charania.
Lakers center Deandre Ayton is returning to Los Angeles, opting into his $8.1 million player option, according to Charania.
Austin Reaves intends to sign a four-year, $185 million max deal, per ESPN.

According to Spotrac, the Lakers have a long list of free agents. The list includes LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, Maxi Kleber, Luke Kennard, Marcus Smart, Jaxson Hayes, Nick Smith Jr., and three two-way players.
