Texas A&M already had the top-ranked recruiting class in the 2027 cycle, but on Thursday, it got significantly better. The Aggies fended off Notre Dame to land the verbal commitment of Tampa LB Kaden Henderson, the nation’s top-ranked LB, as he committed to the Aggies live on the Pat MacAfee show.

Breaking: Kaden Henderson, the 24th ranked recruit in the 2027 SC Next 300, has committed to Texas A&M, he announced on the @PatMcAfeeShow.

It’s also the third time in six years that A&M has gotten a verbal commitment from the nation’s top linebacker, with the previous two (Harold Perkins/Anthony Hill) notably not ending up in College Station. But in Mike Elko we trust.
