Coming out of the Auburn game this past Saturday, the status of Alabama Crimson Tide guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr. was an unknown.
Injured against the Tigers, Wrightsell left Saturday's win at Auburn in the first half due to an injury, and despite the guard returning to the bench later on, an entrance back into the game did not happen.
Following the win, Alabama head coach Nate Oats commented on the status of Wrightsell, stating that the Crimson Tide guard would be getting an exam.
Oats recently provided another update Tuesday afternoon during his press conference prior to the Ole Miss game as well, stating that Wrightsell would likely be a game-time decision Wednesday night against the Rebels.
Wrightsell has dealt with injuries throughout the 2025-26 season, appearing in 15 games with 11 starts. The guard has so far averaged 11.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and two assists per game on 33.6% shooting from three, as well as 83.3% at the free throw line.
Alabama and Ole Miss will tipoff in Oxford on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.

"Wrightsell had the right knee injury, and couldn't play the rest of that Auburn game," Oats said. "He's back to doing basketball activities. It was not as serious of an injury, which was great. Hopefully he can play tomorrow. He'll be a game-time decision."
