DeFellipo (sp). Great offensive mind and a great QB developer. Bring in a strong DC and we'd be set for years, jmho.

Word in NYJets land is that Bowles is on a very, very hot seat. Especially after being blown out by Matt Barkely.

I don't know who's good and who's bad so it's pointless for me to speculate but I will say that being a HC is a lot different than just X's and O's.

Even if you are a genius at that, there are other things you need to be a genius at and if the GM gives you duds you're done so really it all starts at the GM level.

A GM who know's their job is much more likely to hire the right coach who will hire the right assitants and then as a team develop the right strategies and tactics to win every Sunday.

Good established coaches don't seem to be breaking our door down to come here.

Rinse and repeat forever.

I would bring back Bowles in a sec as the DC, but he's not a good HC. Time to move on from that thought. We need an offensive minded HC. McDaniels will probably end up in Cleveland, but if not, I'd consider him also.

Mike Munchak as Head Coach
Bowles as DC
Leftwich as OC. Todd Haley as offensive consultant.

A fan can dream right?

I don't think for a second that Wilks is going to get fired. If it did happen, a name I would consider that I have not seen mentioned is Gary Kubiak. Dude can be creative, and at 57 not too old to get another shot.

Then let's fire M. Bidwill too.

I really don’t understand all the Defilippo love... Outside of his success with Wentz who is a generational talent? I don’t really see what makes him thought of as being the next great head coach???

McDaniels is never getting a HC job anywhere except NE once Bellichek retires. Not after the stunt he pulled with the Colts.

Great point, Conrad, and it’s why it doesn’t matter how DeFilippo has done as an offensive coordinator, or how any other candidate has done for that matter.
