NEW ORLEANS, LA. — Missouri Southern’s Brian Allen has been recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as the Central Region Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field season.
Allen helped guide the Missouri Southern throwers to standout performances to cap off the season. Missouri Southern men’s throwers tallied 41 points under Allen’s leadership at the 2026 MIAA Indoor Championships while claiming the conference title in both shot put and weight throw.
Allen coached six All-America performers throughout the 2026 season (Jamale Williams, Gabe Ford, Isaiah Waller, Lucas Trotter, Trace Woolridge, Cedric Pearson).
