The 2026 MLB season is through four weeks. Numerous players are continuing their hot starts, while others are finding their timing and rhythm. The biggest stories are about the players who haven’t slowed down since the season started. Here are the top 10 third basemen rankings heading into week five.

The game’s best third baseman is heating up. He does it with power and stolen bases. By season’s end, he will be the top-ranked third baseman.

He’s heating up, and that spells danger for opposing teams. Caminero’s ability to hit for power is second to none. He will be a mainstay in the top 10 throughout the season.
The veteran continues to produce. He has been notorious for feasting on right-handed pitching. He may lose at-bats to left-handed pitchers, but he’s going to reach 30 home runs.
Donovan’s fast start, with Seattle, continues. He finished 2025 with a high on-base percentage. He will be one of the top offensive producers for a Mariners team looking for a deep playoff run.
Riley is starting to lock in. His perfect hitting mechanics have been on display. He’s ready to rebound after a quiet production the past two seasons.
