10. Matt Chapman, San Francisco Giants

Paredes has been as hot as any third baseman over the past month. He has helped the Astros stay in contention for the division lead. The AL West is wide open, and continued production from Paredes will help the Astros get back into the playoffs.

8. Zack Gelof, Athletics

Gelof has been on a tear recently. Entering the week, he is tied for fifth in home runs among MLB third basemen. He has one of the best slugging percentages at the third base position.

7. Nick Gonzales, Pittsburgh Pirates

Gonzales is having a strong season. He’s gotten on base often and has allowed hitters to bat with him in scoring position. Entering the week, Gonzales has one of the highest on-base percentages on Pittsburgh’s roster.

5. Josh Jung, Texas Rangers

The buzz around Jung’s season has been quiet. However, he’s having a highly successful campaign. Entering the week, he is tied for first in hits among MLB third basemen.

4. Kazuma Okamoto, Toronto Blue Jays

Okamoto is having success in his first MLB season. He strikes out often, but he has put his power on display. Entering the week, he is tied for second in home runs among MLB third basemen.
