Loved that he needed to come out and play strong, and he did. If we ever go to the playoffs, I now feel he will be able to be one of the players that elevates their game versus shrinking in the moment.
Really this. We're obviously not competing this year, but every pass to Wilson gets hauled in. He's got great hands and has great focus when the ball is in the air. He doesn't have the physical skills of Marv, but he's twice the pass catcher, and in a clutch moment I'd pass it to him as I'd be sure he's going to haul it in.

Not saying he's the be-all-end-all, but it's nice to see a receiver catch the ball consistently.

another note on Mike. In the game where Marv sat with a concussion, Mike was WR1, 6 targets, 6 catches 95 yards. He's not as physically talented as Marv but he's better at making contested catches he comes back to the ball and uses his body better.

It is like this, the job of a WR is to get open and catch the ball. Truth, Wilson does not have the physical ability as Harrison but neither did Jerry Rice. Yes, Rice is an extreme example of a GOAT (and not saying Wilson is a Rice) but just to put into perspective that physical ability is not the end all as long as a guy has enough physical ability to play professional ball

So will the Cards extend Wilson in this off season? He'll be going into the 4th and final season of his rookie contract.

if wilson's #1 again jags will gameplan for him
Will be just more curious what he looks like when the team isn’t down 3 scores. I’m sorry but I would hope the garbage stats would look good when you are down 3 scores nearly all game
