Now Mods, I know this isn't Cardinals related, but it IS Cards FAMILY related and I'm hoping you can keep this up on the biggest page on the board so everyone can see it and know I'll tell you why...

You're probably sick of the promos for MIAMI MEDICAL during the tournament, asking yourself why the world needs ANOTHER medical show and I'll tell you why... BECAUSE I WRITE FOR IT!

It may not reinvent the wheel, but it's a solid show for those who can't get enough of their medical fix!

Starts tonight - 10 eastern/pacific, but check your local listings.

The more people who watch, the better chance I have of keeping my job.

DO IT! DO IT!

As a fan of Jeremy Northam (The Tudors) and in Card solidarity, I'll give it 3 episodes to hook me. :D

I'll definitely give it a shot. I pretty much watched every episode of ER even after it jumped the shark. I don't watch Gray's Anatomy because its too girly. So maybe Miami Medical would work for me. Anyhow, best of luck

I'll only watch if every show involves these three elements:

1. A dramatic situation
2. A romantic situation
3. A comedic situation

Good luck on your show. I hope it does well. I thread like this is better than 10 McNabb threads any day.

No offense and I hope you do well in your career, but they keep trotting out these rehashed medical shows hoping for a hit. What was there, like 7 new medical shows last year that didnt make it past season 1?

Best of luck to ya Cheese!

make sure you work into the story line the case of a NFL linebacker who signed with the local team and was subsequently admitted for observation for delusions of being the top linebacker in the game

Well played...

I'm rooting for you cheese, but I can't stand "medical" dramas.

Cheese, I would only watch it if you have someone with some medical knowledge on your writing staff.

If you have worked in an ER, shows like ER are so absurd it makes them unwatchable.

As someone who studied Professional scriptwriting at Uni, I'm impressed. Good luck with it and whatever future it leads to.

Cheesie, I love you, man, and I supported with watching the show, but it isn't my thing. Oh, I'll be keeping it on the tube to keep the ratings up, but it didn't catch my attention. A few good points in the episode, but I wasn't hooked.

But don't take my reaction for the normal reaction. I would never touch any of the Private Practice or Grey's Anatomy-type shows either. I prefer House and M*A*S*H to the more mainstream hospital dramas. Oh, and Scrubs, of course :)

Nice M*A*S*H reference, though; hope it was your idea!
