NFL STREAKS TO WATCH IN WEEK 16 Over his last six outings, all 24 of Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd’s 24 receptions have gone for first downs.

In today's edition of USA Today sports page, half way down and 3 tiles over.

It is impressive, especially considering his shoulder and ankle are still dinged up.

Not sure this is a stat that is regularly tracked, but would love to see where this stacks up against others. Some perspective would be great.

It is impressive. He has really grown into his role this year. We were all coming down hard on him last year.

Coaching staff, Floyd or both?

Doesn't this also have to do with the routes he's running?
If he's only running down field routes how could he catch a pass that wouldn't gain a first down?
I don't remember him catching any short passes and running for the first down?

Larry on the other hand is catching screens, going across the middle...

I can think of a couple where he had to make a guy miss and stretch out and one where he ran across the field to outrun a LB but I agree that most have been caught past the line to gain.
