Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke has died at the age of 29, it has been announced.
Clarke was born in Vancouver and played his entire professional career at the Tennessee-based franchise having been picked up as a first round draft by Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019.
A cause of death has not been revealed with the NBA, the Grizzlies and his agent Priority Sports announcing the news on social media.
"We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke," the Grizzlies said in a statement.
"Brandon was an outstanding team-mate and an even better person whose impact on the organisation and the greater Memphis community will not be forgotten. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time."
