The Memphis Grizzlies have placed a memorial to the late Brandon Clarke in their locker room at FedExForum, as revealed by center Zach Edey.
The third-year player from Purdue posted the memorial, which reads, "Forever in our hearts" via a story on his personal Instagram account.

The Los Angeles Fire Department on May 11 declared Clarke dead at the scene of a home in San Fernando Valley, California. He was 29.
Clarke was the 21st overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was immediately traded to the Grizzlies, for whom he played the entirety of his NBA career. He was a first-team selection on the 2020 NBA All-Rookie team.
"We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brandon Clarke," the Grizzlies said in a statement on May 12. "Brandon was an outstanding teammate and an even better person whose impact on the organization and the greater Memphis community will not be forgotten. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time."
Clarke's death has created an outpouring of support and memorials from across the NBA and college basketball worlds and beyond. He began his college career at San Jose State, where he played for the Spartans from 2015 to 2017. He transferred to play for Gonzaga, where in 2018-19 he was the West Coast Conference Newcomer of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
