The Louisville-area nominees for Courier Journal baseball player of the year delivered on the diamond throughout the 2026 season.
Voting is underway for The Courier Journal's baseball player of the year. The poll closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, and the winner will be announced Friday.

Senior batted .517 with five home runs, 20 doubles, 57 RBIs, 59 runs and 39 stolen bases. Received first-team All-State and Sixth Region Player of the Year honors. Signed with Bellarmine University.
Senior batted .455 with nine doubles, 32 RBIs and 29 stolen bases. Named second-team All-State. Committed to Triton College.
Senior batted .438 with three home runs and 19 RBIs. Also went 2-2 on the mound with a 1.29 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 21 2/3 innings. Received third-team All-State honors. Committed to Marion Military Institute.

Senior was 12-0 with a 0.67 ERA, striking out 96 over 62⅓ innings. Also batted .467 with 11 doubles and 39 RBIs for the state champions. Named Kentucky’s Mr. Baseball and Seventh Region Player of the Year. Signed with the University of Kentucky.
