DUBOIS — After winning the Class 5A baseball title last week, Meadville traveled to Showers Field to take on DuBois in a sub-regional match on Monday. The Bulldogs season ended with a 9-2 loss.
Ian Miller and Jared Grubbs recorded the team’s runs. Rocco Woodrow and AJ Feleppa added RBIs.
Feleppa pitched 3.1 innings for Meadville striking out two, while Konnor Mascitti closed out the game with two strikeouts.
Meadville ended the season 11-11. It was the final game for seniors Henry DeSantis-Biggs, Nick Engels, AJ Feleppa, Aidan Kleist, Colin Reichel, Jacoby Thompson and Rocco Woodrow.
