LINESVILLE — Conneaut's softball team lost to Titusville 16-3 in a regular season finale at Conneaut Area Senior High School on Thursday.
Junior Riley Miller was a perfect 3-for-3 on the day. Hailey Gilliland and Ella Fuller were each 2-for-3. Fuller and Miller each had a double.
Conneaut ended its season 1-18.

UNION CITY — The Cochranton softball team defeated Union City 4-3 in a non-region game on Thursday to close the regular season.
Cochranton scored the winning run in the top of the seventh when Alaina Shorts scored on a passed ball. Regann McClain was 2-for-3 and Dani Hoffman had a double.
Jaidin Frayer fanned seven and allowed five hits. Cochranton ended the regular season 18-1 overall.

ERIE — Meadville's baseball team defeated Erie 6-1 on Thursday behind a strong pitching performance from ace AJ Feleppa.
Feleppa pitched all seven innings. The junior struck out 11 and allowed four hits with no walks.
Ian Miller was 2-for-4. Aiden Kleist and Gavin Cheney each scored two runs.
Meadville defeated Fort LeBoeuf 3-2 on Wednesday and ended the regular season 7-10 overall. The Bulldogs will advance to the Class 5A PIAA Sub-regional against either a District 8 or 9 team.

COCHRANTON — Cochranton's baseball team ended its regular season with a 9-6 home win against Northwestern on Thursday.
Walker Carroll was 3-for-4 with three doubles. Trent Hoban, Gavin Moore and Coleton Mattocks each had two hits.
The Cardinals are 7-9 overall and ended the year on a two-game win streak.

Panthers sweep Tigers
SAEGERTOWN — The Saegertown boys volleyball team swept Maplewood 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-22) on Thursday at Steve Scott Gymnasium.
Jackson Scott dished 18 assists. Josh Weaver and Ryder Bailey each had five kills for Saegertown. Cru Scott added nine digs. Saegertown ended the regular season 11-3 overall and 7-2 in region games.
Bulldogs score six in loss to Tigers
Mayai Lencioni had a hat trick, and Meadville scored its second-highest goal total this season in a 21-6 loss to Fairview in District 10 girls lacrosse at Bender Field on Thursday.
Lencioni's three goals led the Bulldogs. Camden Armstrong added a pair of goals and four ground balls. Brooke Hart had a team-high seven ground balls and also scored for Meadville.
Paige Cullen made 14 saves in goal.
Seniors Armstrong, Hart, Desiree Morin and Eva Gordon were recognized following the game.
