Damn they are going to be stacked. As a Suns fan it sucks but I am actually kind of excited to see LA, SA, Boston, Cleveland, and Orlando go at it next year. It's a good thing for the NBA.

Spurs are just looking for another big body and he fits the bill. Bottom line is the Spurs are not playing around and they will compete for the Western Conference title next season. Spurs are trying to give Duncan one last run with this core.

I have to agree, the guy averages 9.6pts and 9.8 boards. Good numbers for a role player, but that was with an average of 30.1 min a game. He was putting in solid backup numbers with starter minutes. I don't think I would have used a full MLE on him in most cases. For SA though, it was the best guy left available and they had a need so they went for it. I do however, think they overspent a little bit.
