Mauricio Ruffy had a night to remember in front of the White House on Sunday, June 14.
Ruffy produced a first-round knockout victory over Michael Chandler in one of the more anticipated matches on the UFC Freedom 250 card.
The Brazilian followed up the victory in the lightweight match with a marriage proposal while talking with commentator Joe Rogan during the postfight interview.
Ruffy's girlfriend was not in the octagon during the surprise proposal, but it was confirmed that she gave a thumbs-up from the crowd to accept.
