UFC Freedom 250 video: Mauricio Ruffy brutalizes Michael Chandler

Mauricio Ruffy is known to bring the violence, and Sunday he brought it straight onto the White House South Lawn.

At UFC Freedom 250, Ruffy (14-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) pulverized former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler (23-11 MMA, 2-6 UFC) with a brutal beatdown attack. The TKO stoppage came at 4:29 of Round 1.

Ruffy tagged Chandler over and over again. It appeared more strikes than not were putting Chandler on virtual roller skates. Ruffy repeatedly tried his signature wheel kick. Eventually one connected that sent Chandler back into the fence. As Chandler came forward, Ruffy connected with three more big punches that put him down and out.

With the win, Ruffy extends his streak to two following a loss to Benoit Saint Denis. After the fight, Ruffy picked up another victory – by proposing to his wife and getting a quick yes.

Chandler, 40, has now lost four fights in a row and six of his most recent seven.
