I remember when Badger jumped the route on a Mike Glennon pass in the preseason and I was like "Badger is back!" It just turns out that Glennon is really, really terrib.... uh oh.

And I remember how slow he looked during the return.

That was to the house before the second ACL. Think he got caught at like the 40.

They need to cut ties with HB and start building significant cap space for next season. Especially if they don’t have a 1st or 2nd rd pick next year they’ll need money to add talent.

Or just don't blow your top two picks next year, considering you have $90 million in cap space to go along with it already. Use the money and picks then to refresh the roster.

there are five or six articles from cleveland sports guys wanting the Browns to trade for Badger... first was about possible release, but then they realized he might not want to come there.

Package Badger with a few picks to move up. works for me.

Is Wilks a good enough DB coach to teach Mathieu how to play, with his skills at its current level ?

That is the question.

We all know the potential that we are dealing with in regards to Mathieu. I do not believe he will ever play up to the contract he currently is on, but I have been happily wrong more than a few times.

Coaching isn't what he needs... Is Wilks a Shaman of some sorts?... who can magically erase the abuse HB has endured?
He didn't forget how to play, he just got slower...and far more tentative.

Time to part ways with him.He can`t cover anymore and Cards can replace his lack of real production a lot cheaper .

Cut him loose and if he cannot get his $$ on the open market, then bring him back on the cheap.

Well at least we know the Cardinals are not into PR moves and Mathieu is gone.
