Detroit Awarded DT Bell

Good for him, I guess.

The other five teams that claimed Bell on waivers were: Houston, Jacksonville, Miami, St. Louis and San Francisco.

Interesting. Two teams in our division wanted him. We'll see whether or not this decision comes back to bite us.

You know, many people have a negative perception of Marcus because of the disabled parking story, but I have to tell you, he is one of the nicest people I have met. Always willing to talk, writing personal journals for www.azcardinals.com in the midst of a losing season, and getting out in the community more than most.

People can argue about his on-field worth, but as a person, he is an All-Pro.

Good luck to Marcus, an ASFN lurker!

My wife met Marcus at the Football for Women event last year. She said he was the nicest and most patient player there.

She talked about him so much I started to get jealous.

I like the move. He has yet to show anything on the field to prove otherwise.

time to get rid of the dead weight and Bell had a lot of it.

I don't like Bell being released. I thought he was better then Russell Davis or Barron Tanner. I wish him well.

Met Marcus in Select a seat this year and he was nice person. He asked if I liked the hiring of DG and told me how excited he is for this coming season. Good luck Marcus.

Every time one of these scrubs gets picked up someone posts let's see if this comes back to bite us. Mark this down: Lucas, Bell, Tanner will not come back and hurt the Cards in any way. They are scrubs.

He was so happy and nice because he didn't have to worry about parking like the rest of us.

Concur, I thought Bell might develop. Looks like it will be with another team.

I thought one of those guys would be gone way before Bell.

Well, he is gone. Time to move on. I am sure that the Lions are not asking themselves if this move will come back to haunt the Cardinals. Let's just focus on who is left and look toward an attacking defense this season. Personally I'd like to finally see a QB/RB running for his life every down.

We do! ..but it just seems to be OUR QB/RB :D

Seriously, I wish Bell all the luck in the world, but he isn't a Cardinal anymore, end of story

Yeah and look on the bright side at least it frees up a parking spot now for people who need it.
