I honestly do not think you watch a lot of NFL with this take.

I do agree that he’s not a starter level player. But Beachum played in 15 games and gave up 4 sacks. That is VERY good numbers for a back-up tackle. The reality of the league is that no one has a starting caliber level player at back-up OT.
Trust me. Not only do I watch a ton of football, but I rewatch even more. The only reason Beachum gave up 4 sacks is because of the elusiveness of Murray. Otherwise, he would have given up double digit. And that’s not even the reason why Beachum mostly sucks. You cannot run to his side, especially in short yardage situations. We can only hope the tackle we drafted out of TX is ready to go should Williams go down again.

But then you are not reading what I'm writing. I am not saying Beachum is the awesome player. I've provided the pff grade to prove that.

I am pointing out that the talent is so slim at OT that no team has good back-ups at OT. Beachum is as good as it gets - even at his level.

On the rushing... Of the 8 gaps measured, RT ranked 2nd most successful with 5.5 YPA, so not sure where you are getting this from. I have no idea why you would want to run off tackle in short yardage.
