May 19—FERGUS FALLS — The Lumberjacks were well represented near the top of the standings on Friday morning.
The Bemidji High School girls golf team placed first at the Otter Invite in Fergus Falls with a team score of 335, boosted to the top by three top-five individual finishes.
Brynn Meyer shot an 80 to pace the Jacks and place first individually. Aurora Frank was next up, carding an 83 to capture third. Taylor Schulke also managed to place in the top five, shooting 84 for fourth.
Halle Sanden (12th, 88), Stella Schoonover (16th, 91) and Abigail Jenkins (26th, 100) rounded out the scoring for Bemidji.

1-Bemidji 335; 2-Crookston 345; 3-Fergus Falls 360; 4-Moorhead 360; 5-Melrose 368; 6-Staples Motley 397.
