So, posters saying we should extend Murphy is not good enough because why? Did we think he was going to be this good, no. But the commentary was that we should extend him as he was one of the few picks that "hit".

Saying we should re-sign a player at 12 mil vs 16 mil is not advocating against re-signing him. And the "going rate" was in no way an established number.

It doesn't matter to them the team is 3-11 last 14 games. I guess ignorance is bliss.

Actually, 4-10 if you count the playoff game (5-9 in regular season games).

It gets a bit silly. Next will be posts about hindsight being 20/20 when people on here were calling it like it is last year.

I went backed and looked - can't find anything from before the season that were clamoring for Murphy and Allen extensions. Once they started playing well this season - then yes but it was this season. Prove me wrong - have no problem with that.

Yeah this is wrong. Quite a few people were pushing for Murphy and Allen extensions in the offseason.
