London and Santa Gertrudis Academy finished among the top programs in Texas in the final UIL Lone Star Cup standings, which recognize the state's top overall athletic and academic programs.
The Pirates tied for second with Holliday in Class 3A with 88 points. Wall High School won the Class 3A title with 105 points.
Santa Gertrudis Academy placed tied for 22nd in the Class 3A standings with 39 points.

The UIL Lone Star Cup is awarded to one school in each UIL classification based on success in district and state competition across athletics and academics. The winning school in each classification receives the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.
London's strong finish came during another strong school year after multiple programs made deep postseason runs. The Pirated advanced to state in baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, cross country and track and field.
Santa Gertrudis Academy's strong school year was powered in softball after the Lions won the Class 3A Division II state championship.
