AUSTIN — The Coahoma softball team will look to become the first four-peat state champions when it faces Santa Gertrudis Academy in a rematch of the 2023 title game at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The Bulldogettes come into their fifth-straight championship match off a 13-3 win over Grand Saline in the state semifinal, while the Lions look for their second title in program history to pair with the 2018 trophy.
