It's no surprise that the Rockets and Warriors are snarled in a tough battle in the opening round of the Western Conference playoffs, with the teams tied at 1-1 as the series heads back to San Francisco for Game 3.

The Rockets wrapped up the regular season known for their rough play on the court and the Warriors, for their part, earned a reputation as a physical team, too. Any team that features big man Draymond Green is a candidate for some rough antics on the floor.

We got that in Game 2, especially in a play that resulted in Warriors star Jimmy Butler being injured (deep bruise on his glute) and probably ruled out for Game 3. That's led to a back-and-forth between the Dubs and the Rockets about whether the insitgator of that player--Houston rookie Amen Thompson--is a dirty player.

Amid that chatter, Houston forward Dillon Brooks--the Rockets' elbow-throwing answer to Green--told reporters, "I think the dirty player is Draymond, giving [Thompson] a little push. That's what regular basketball players do."

Another sign of the quick descension of this series into something more than a friendly rivalry came with the chant dusted off by the crowd in the Rockets' home games. Much as Celtics fans did with Green in the 2022 NBA Finals, Houston's fans repeatedly hurled, "(Expletive) you, Draymond!" chants at Green.

Brooks was asked about those chants, too.

Brooks gave the chants his thumps-up.

"I liked it," he said. "It was good."

Green won't be hearing those chants again in the next two games at the Chase Center, as the Warriors are hosting. But even if Golden State wins both games, there is guaranteed to be a Game 5 back in Houston, so Green is likely to get the harsh treatment at least one more time.

Game 3 is Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
