The Golden State Warriors-Houston Rockets series is getting more intense by the day. The duel between the No. 2 and No. 7 in the Western Conference standings is drawing a lot of attention and controversy didn't take long to present upon us.

Jimmy Butler, the Warriors' second-best player, went down with an injury in the first quarter of Game 2 of this series. He was undercut by Rockets' Amen Thompson after the young player went for a rebound off his own shot. Butler had the same idea, but Thompson bumped into him, taking the former Miami Heat star to the ground.

Butler was unable to return to the game and the Warriors lost 109-94, going back home with a series tied at one win.

“No, I think the dirty player is Draymond, giving (Amen) a little push, as regular basketball players do,” Brooks said, via Chancellor Johnson on X. “Jimmy’s fighting in the air for a rebound, and stuff happens. Amen’s not a dirty player. He has (nothing) to do with being a dirty player.”

The Warriors listed Butler as questionable for Game 3, the first 2025 playoff game at Chase Center. Butler's MRI confirmed he sustained a pelvis and deep glute muscle contusion. While the injury isn't that serious, his availability for Saturday's game is reportedly in "serious jeopardy."
