Wednesday's Game 2 of the first-round Western Conference playoff series between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriorsfinished with six technical fouls, one flagrant foul, an injury to Jimmy Butler, and numerous replay reviews of chippy sequences.

Not surprisingly, many of those sequences involved controversial Warriors veteran Draymond Green.

In a late-night game from Toyota Center in Houston, the frustration often boiled over for the home fans, who directed a few profane chants at the NBA Defensive Player of the Year finalist.

In postgame comments, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said he wasn't a fan. Kerr's reaction:

It's not ideal when a crowd is chanting 'F you Draymond.' ... I would prefer if fans could use a little more discretion and remember that the guy has kids. Maybe I'm old school. I'm all for the fans cheering for their team and if they want to yell at the opponents, great, but I just think 'F you' is... it's a little much.

For his part, Green only objected to what he viewed as a lack of originality.

"It's not original," Green said postgame. "Been there before, and won a championship while it was happening (in the 2022 NBA Finals). Can't steal other people's s---. That belongs to Boston."

It's worth remembering that Rockets head coach Ime Udoka was in charge of the Celtics at that time. As with the current Rockets, those Celtics played with a physical edge defensively, and the combination of that style of play with Green often leads to fireworks.

With Game 2 in the books and the best-of-seven series now tied at a game apiece, the scene will shift to San Francisco's Chase Center for Game 3 and Game 4 on Saturday and Monday, respectively. It shouldn't come as a surprise if fans of the Warriors have a few rebuttals in mind.
