Nobody faults him for signing the contract. We fault him for refusing some VERY good contract offers. His unwillingness to bend and apparent desire to squeeze a couple extra mil in guaranteed money at the risk of handcuffing the front office as free agency starts is where I fault him. It would be one thing if we low balled him on the offer to restructure, but that isn't the case. Larry either has a poor choice of agents or poor choice of what is important. The worst part is a guy that has always seemed to be a "team oriented" guy is making a few fans turn on him with his demands.

Naw, I'm tired of arguing. Stout and I understand each other and have made our points so there isn't much more to say. I will say that anyone who thinks Fitz's contract terms were a mistake apparently don't know how the rest of the NFL operates or really don't care just so long as they can bash Graves.

Hopefully the Cards learned their lesson to not base their contract expectations on the player failing to live up to his potential without some protection on their part. I can't blame Graves for that because hardly any of the Cards(anyone's for that matter) picks live up to their rookie contract. This one did and Graves is screwed because of it. As much as i like to point out Graves's deficincies, this wasn't his fault either.
