Schefter said he asked James Andrews about Jack's knee and was told he does not need microfracture. Andrews is a shoulder specialist not a knee specialist and nobody said he needs it now, they said he might need it down the line, but hopefully that helps and jack doesn't freefall.

But again, at a certain point it's better for him to get past 45 so he gets insurance money.

Yeah I posted that on the wrong thread was supposed to be on the Jack one.

But Andrews is a shoulder and elbow specialist, would have been much better to have Dr Steadman come and say that. Plus, Andrews didn't say need surgery ever, he just said now.

It appears the Miami Dolphins have narrowed down who leaked the video of Laremy Tunsil using a gas mask bong moments before the start of the NFL Draft on Thursday.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the Dolphins believe Tunsil's former financial advisor is the culprit. The video became the story of the draft as Tunsil, who many believed would be a top-5 pick, slipped to the 13th pick, where the Dolphins selected the former Ole Miss offensive tackle.

Yep he'll get a five mill signing bonus instead of 13 and a total contract of 11 mil instead of 22 mil...pretty jacked up.

I agree, it's certainly his actions that started all this. But I wouldn't say he has "only himself" to blame. The real problem, the one that is costing him a lot of money, isn't the fact that he used a bong. Had it not been for the timing of this hacked posting, his misdeed wouldn't have been an issue at all for most clubs.

It's just such a scummy thing for a person to do, I hope the consequences are equally life changing for the POS that did this.

Is this "agent" thing one of those (Reggie Bush cough cough) back out deal vendettas. The one where a player, Tunsil, gets an agent while he is at Ole Miss, takes money in exchange for future deal and then dumps the guy for a "new agent worthy of his #1 pick status (oops). This is full on damage control and Ole Miss is going down. One would have to be naive to discount the possibility and likelihood.

Laremy Tunsil made headlines during the 2016 NFL Draft for all the wrong reasons. Despite the video of Tunsil smoking out of a gas mask, the biggest revelation was his admission that he took money from coaches while at Ole Miss. Now Tunsil’s team is in full damage control mode.

Tunsil’s attorney, Steve Farese, claims the leaked texts were taken out of context.

“My information is that issue, in and of itself, has already been discussed previously with the NCAA and there was nothing to it. Once the truth comes out about that text, and I hate to make a pun, but the text is taken out of context. And once it is found out what this is all about, it will be much to do about nothing.”

The problem here is that the leaked texts on Instagram weren’t the end of the issue. Tunsil later admitted to taking money during a press conference. He was also suspended seven games during the 2015 season for receiving impermissible benefits.

While members of Tunsil’s team are trying to talk their way out of this one, I think we all know what was really going on. It will be hard for Ole Miss to wriggle out of this one....
