No. 4 Tennessee (30-5, 7-5 SEC) defeated Ole Miss (23-15, 2-10 SEC), 4-3, Sunday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.

The Lady Vols salvaged a win in the series finale against the Rebels after Sophia Knight hit a walk-off single in the seventh inning, breaking a, 3-3, tie.

Tennessee led, 3-0, in the third inning after freshman Elsa Morrison hit a three-run double in the third inning.

Ole Miss tied the game with a three-run home run by Madi George.

Morrison went 1-for-4. She hit one double and recorded three RBIs for the Lady Vols, who lost the first two games of the series against the Rebels.

Alannah Leach went 2-for-3 and hit one double for Tennessee, which recorded five hits in the contest, while Emma Clarke went 1-for-2. She hit one double and scored two runs.

Karlyn Pickens (8-3) pitched three innings and allowed three runs, two hits and one walk. She recorded six strikeouts. Pickens totaled 47 pitches and 35 strikes.

Erin Nuwer started for Tennessee. She pitched four innings and allowed three hits and one walk. Nuwer recorded one strikeout and totaled 63 pitches, including 37 strikes.
