EL PASO, Tex–The Missouri State Lady Bears are on their Conference USA southwestern swing.

The Lady Bears are in Texas-El Paso looking for their fifth straight victory.

This is only the second time these two have played, the last time was 17 years ago.

Quick start for the Lady Bears, Faith Lee into the lane to get things started.

Then Kaemyn Bekemeier, the CUSA player of the week with a three from the mountains, MoState with a 10-nothing run to start the game.

Later in the first quarter, the freshman Kendal Brueggen with the three, it’s 17-6 Lady Bears.

Second quarter, Bekemeier with the long two, and the friendly bounce off the rim, 25-15 MoState.

She led the Lady Bears with 21 points.

Lainie Douglas then flashes into the paint, and the lay up, Lady Bears by a dozen.

Later, Maiesha Washington in the lane and the finish, Lady Bears led by eight at halftime.

And Missouri State wins its fifth straight game 71-64.
