Lady Bears rally past Kennesaw for third straight win

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Missouri State Lady Bears hosted their first ever Conference USA home game Thursday night.

In town the Kennesaw State Owls.

In our Bear Nation update, MoState was looking for its third straight win and it’s tenth of the season.

And the Lady Bears taking it inside all night, Kendal Brueggen with the basket, it’s 16-15 Owls.

Second quarter, Kaemyn Bekemeier with the lay up, it’s 23-22 Kennesaw.

The Owls were hot from outside in the first half, Kailyn Fields with the three, Kennesaw State led by six at halftime.

Third quarter, Lady Bears rally, Lainie Douglas with the hoop, two of her 21 on the night, it’s a two point game.

Then Bekemeier hits the only three of the game for the Lady Bears and we’re tied at 50.

Fourth quarter, Bekemeier drives to the rack, she had a career high 26 points, and 11 rebounds.

Maiesha Washington seals the deal as she drives to the basket, Missouri State comes from behind in the second half to beat Kennesaw State 67-61.
