My wife made me watch this with her on Mothers Day. Neither of us were all that impressed. In fact I couldn't wait for it to be over. Glad it didn't win best movie.

Same. I thought the acting was fine, but I found the film very boring.

Killed it at the oscars though.

I gave up on the Oscars when John Wayne (True Grit) won best acting Oscar over Dustin Hoffman ( Midnight Cowboy) in 1970.
